Mr. Pierre BARNABE
Chief Executive Officer, Soitec
Pierre Barnabé joined Soitec in May 2022 and became Chief Executive Officer on July 26, 2022. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice-President at Atos (2015–2021), leading the Big Data & Cybersecurity division, and overseeing Public Services & Defense, then Manufacturing. He was also interim group CEO in 2021.
From 2013 to 2015, he was Deputy CEO of Bull, a European leader in supercomputing, AI electronics, cybersecurity, and cyberdefense. Before that, he led the Enterprise division at French telecom SFR (2011–2013), where he launched cloud computing and high-speed broadband services.
Earlier in his career, Barnabé held various roles at Alcatel and Alcatel-Lucent (1998–2013), including Chairman & Managing Director of Alcatel-Lucent France and Deputy Group Managing Director in charge of Human Resources and Transformation.
He is a graduate of NEOMA Business School and École Centrale de Paris, and a Knight of the French National Order of Merit.
