Aparna Bharadwaj is a Managing Director and Senior Partner at Boston Consulting Group and the global leader of the firm’s Global Advantage practice, which focuses on global growth and resilience across more than 70 markets. She is also a leader within BCG’s Center for Geopolitics. With over two decades of experience, Aparna specializes in global trade, economic statecraft, and trade policy, advising multinational corporations and policymakers on navigating an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape. 

Her work spans economic development, the digital economy, productivity, and future skills, with a strong focus on ASEAN, Asia, and Global South markets. She has extensive experience working with public sector clients and is a recognized expert in emerging market dynamics. Previously, she led BCG’s Center for Customer Insight globally, expanding its presence across 50 markets. Aparna is a published thought leader on geopolitics and global trade, a TED speaker, and a frequent participant at global forums such as the World Economic Forum. She holds an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi University.
