Vernon Lim is the Director of Environmental Sustainability at Micron. He drives Micron’s Environmental Sustainability programs including process design, future fab integration, operations optimization with smart manufacturing analytics and supplier engagement to advance Micron towards her aspirational goals of net zero emissions, 100% carbon-free electricity globally, 100% water conservation and zero waste to landfill.
Prior to that, Vernon was a Director of Central Process and Equipment engineering. He drives strategies for Dry Etch, Wet process and Chemical Mechanical Planarization process. During his capacity in that role, he was instrumental in driving scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction, water and waste reduction for high volume manufacturing products. He also works closely with technology development team and tool suppliers, driving tool and process roadmap.
