Applications of AI in Operations

To-date AI is still a buzz word where some believe this can be bubble and some believe this will be the future. The former refers AI as hype, the later refer AI as augmentation.

In fact, application AI has been a while starting from perceptions, migration to reasoning and further move up the chain to planning and finally executions, be it in the form of digital and physical.

Infusion or adoptions of AI in Operations categories into 4 key principals; the foundation platform of AI, the key characterizations of AI, the fundamental building block of AI and the use of AI.

While we are in phase of transforming “AI in Operations” to “Operational AI”, today, we shall explore the use of AI in Operations under 2 main courses; Operations Core Function and Operations Support Function.

Let’s begin.
