Mr. George LEE - Board Member

Mr. George Lee serves as the Head of Infineon’s Backend Board since 1 May 2024. He is responsible for BE operations across nine Infineon sites and over 30 OSAT partners, leading a global workforce of 25,000 and overseeing a revenue portfolio of approximately €15 billion. Mr. Lee joined Infineon in 2019 leading Backend Post-Merger Integration efforts and became a member of the Backend Board on 1 July 2021. He also serves as a board member for six of Infineon’s legal entities for which he represents as chairperson for four of them. Prior to joining Infineon, Mr. Lee held various management roles across wafer foundries, OSAT companies, and Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs), bringing with him extensive industry experience. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
