Mr. YEO Chak Huat - Vice Chairman

Yeo Chak Huat is a Senior Director at Globalfoundries, the leading specialty semiconductor foundry that makes integrated circuits commonly found in computer, communications, industrial applications, automotive, and consumer electronics.

In this role he is responsible for the Singapore factory backend manufacturing, engineering operations, and supported the new technology introduction testing, characterization and qualification for production readiness.

Chak Huat is part of the Singapore Leadership team, working with the site GM and leaders in the site strategy and key focus areas.

Previously at GF, Chak Huat was the Head of OSAT Operations and Business Management where he manages the worldwide outsourcing business and operation of the company. He grew the business to $300M revenue, drove the execution of the operation and quality to meet the customer service expectation.

Chak Huat has spent 30 years in the semiconductor industry. His work focuses on a wide range of domains, spanning the technical, business, operation and quality aspect of the semiconductor industry. His area of expertise included wafer fabrication, wafer bumping, packaging, and testing.

Chak Huat has a Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from NUS.
